I engaged the services of Jane Leeming from Alpak Trade to develop the moulds for the new, patented Katipo Craypot. This required some very big moulds, the largest being 5560kgs. There are 12 moulded parts and 1 pressed aluminium part to make up one craypot.Along the way I made some design changes and after the first samples were received there were further alterations as this unique product became a reality. I was able to visit China with Jane and meet the manufacturing company to discuss ways of overcoming major design problems.
I experienced good support as I was in an area that I had had very little previous experience. Overall I am happy with the experience.
